Building Inclusive and Sustainable TVET
Friday, 19th September 2025, Don Bosco Tech Kenya hosted the National Conference on Inclusive and Sustainable TVET at the Sarova Stanley Hotel, Nairobi. The gathering brought together key stakeholders to reflect on the future of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Kenya and beyond.
Guided by the theme of inclusion and sustainability, participants engaged deeply in sessions on:
-
Gender inclusion in TVET and employment
-
Strengthening TVET–labour market linkages
-
Green TVET for climate-resilient jobs
-
Digital and AI-driven skills for the future of work
-
Disability inclusion in skills development
Moderated by Rev. Dr. Sahaya G. Selvam, the conference created space for dialogue, collaboration, and the building of bridges between education, the labour market, and social inclusion.
In the spirit of Don Bosco, this initiative reaffirms our commitment to empowering young people with skills that not only open doors to employment but also nurture a just, sustainable, and hope-filled society.
Together, let us continue to champion TVET that transforms lives and communities.
