DBDON Equips Teachers with 21st-Century Teaching Strategies

From March 4 to 6, 2025, DBDON successfully organized a transformative three-day training aimed at equipping teachers with 21st-century teaching strategies. The training focused on enhancing digital literacy and introducing innovative instructional methods, ensuring that educators are well-prepared to integrate technology into their classrooms effectively.

The intensive training featured 20 hours of face-to-face participation, complemented by structured guidance through the Learning Management System (LMS). This approach provided participants with hands-on experience in modern teaching methodologies, fostering an engaging and interactive learning environment.

The sessions were led by highly esteemed education experts, including Rev. Prof. Selvam G. Sahaya, Director at DBDON and trainer at PEDAGOGUE.21, alongside distinguished facilitators Mr. Ngure Githinji and Ms. Naomi Wanjagua. Their expertise and insightful instruction played a pivotal role in empowering teachers with the necessary skills to enhance their teaching effectiveness and student engagement.

Upon successfully completing the training, all participating teachers were awarded certificates in recognition of their dedication and commitment to professional development. Additionally, they received DBDON T-shirts as a token of appreciation for their participation and enthusiasm throughout the program.

This impactful training was conducted under the PEDAGOGUE.21 program, a renowned initiative dedicated to revolutionizing education through innovative teaching methodologies and digital integration. Through this program, DBDON continues to support educators in their journey towards excellence in teaching and learning.
