Fr George Tharanyil SDB
Has been serving in academic and pastoral contexts in Eastern Africa since 1992. He holds a PhD (Psychology) from the University of London.
He has served in lecturing and in academic administration in several institutions, rising to be the DVC Designate for Academic and Student Affairs at Tangaza University College (2017-2020). He is well published and is ranked as an Associate Professor. He has carried out several consultancies in strategic planning and organisational audit. He has served as a Board member in several international boards.
He also served the Salesian Province of Eastern Africa as a provincial councillor and the Youth-Pastoral Coordinator (Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, South Sudan, and the Sudan) from 2003-2008. He was reappointed to this post since 2022.
