The Job Service Office in Kenya coordinates placement and market linkages in five technical institutions. These are; Don Bosco Boys Town, Don Bosco Makuyu, Don Bosco Embu, Don Bosco Marsabit and Don Bosco Kakuma. These five centers enroll approximately three thousand students annually. Over the years since the introduction of this office, the core responsibility of the JSO has been to ensure that the graduates are ready for the job market amidst increasing the opportunities and linkages these graduates would need to be absorbed in the labor market. A number of students who graduate from Salesians TVETs in Kenya opt to advance their studies, some completely deviating from the training they received in Don Bosco, while others begin enterprises, therefore, creating employment for themselves and those they employ.
Notably, a number of partners in the Kenyan Technical Education space acknowledge the uniqueness in the approach of the Salesian Education system. Experiences gained by the national Job Service Officer indicate that the Salesian Education system is externally touted as one laden with crucial life skills which not only make the student graduates outstanding in their workplaces but also become an important element in the management of the tasks assigned to them in their workplaces. Feedback received from an employer in 2019 gave a testimony of how a Don Bosco Boys Town Carpentry student would take time to clean his workspace after work, unlike other employees who trained elsewhere.
Until May 2022, only the national Job Service Officer coordinated the activities of the office in the country. With assistance from DBTA through the Global Project, the office expanded to include five job service officers, each stationed in the five technical schools in the country. The institution of the five Local JSOs was important to ensure that activities related to the office at the center level are managed more effectively. Further, through the same project, each JSO was bought a Motorbike, A digital camera, a laptop, an office chair, and a tablet. Activity is still on course to ensure that each JSO has a well-equipped office.  Presently this is the list of JSOs in Kenya
