Enhanced Youth Employment Avocado Growing Project
Field visit April 2023.
The project aims at improving the livelihood of youth at Don Bosco Nzaikoni parish- Machakos county and Kabazi area in Nakuru county. The project is doing well and the plants are now with fruits. The next step is to equip the young farmers with skills in agribusiness and creation of co-operatives. The skills will enable them to eliminate brokers and middle men who buy the produce at a throw away price.
